Planet Songs – The Eight-fold Path
The Eight-fold Path of spiritual development is described in Rudolf Steiner's Knowledge of the Higher Worlds. This path, the days of the week and the seven planets (with their scales), are all related to each other. This can be summarised as follows:-
Monday Moon the Right Word
Tuesday Mars the Right Deed
Wednesday Mercury the Right Vocation
Thursday Jupiter the Right Striving
Friday Venus the Right Memory
Saturday Saturn the Right Images
Sunday Sun the Right Decision
The eighth quality is Right Contemplation and is applied to all the above, with the aim of creating the 'New Sun'.
