As a soul filled guitar playing teenager, I started to write songs. These songs got noticed and an invitation to record appeared.
Years later, having studied music and gained an honours degree I began the Eurythmy training in the Ringwood Botton Eurythmy School. There I began taking lyrics that inspired me and trying to paint a picture in music for them using unaccompanied voice in 4-part harmony for soprano, alto, tenor and bass.
It was there that I met Hilary Kidman and her poetry work and instantly started 'hearing' music. The two pieces in this book were composed for our later work together as part of some Goethean Science 'Art in Conversation with Nature' courses where we travelled to the Hebrides to work with students and participants from scientists to artists. This time and this work remain one of the most precious periods in my life.
