Giovanni Monti has a wealth of musical experience.
His performing activities are centred around composing and conducting. He is the conductor of the polyphonic choirs Lumina Vocis (Cori) and Vox Libera (Nettuno) and the youth choirs Alchemicanto (Nettuno) and Always Young (Nettuno), and has worked with many of the top names in Italian music and theatre.
His success with these choirs has been publically recognised with awards gained at the International Competition of Choir Music held in Chieti, Italy: First Prize Winner in June 2017 in the Pop/Gospel category with Alchemicanto; First Prize in Polyphonic Music in June 2014 with Lumina Vocis; and Best Conductor in June 2012.
In addition he has successfully published musical scores and CD’s, featuring both choirs and musicians:
Furthermore he has assisted in the musical direction and arrangement of several musicals in Italy as well as conducting the orchestra and participating as a pianist on the stage:

Having achieved success in his native Italy, he is now concentrating on spreading the rich polyphonic Italian tradition internationally, using modern language that appeals to everyone.
