Hugh A Cameron
As a child Hugh was proud of being Scottish and was interested in electronics. He exposed himslef to fiddle music in Shetland and Eire. Thrice on his travels in Europe and South America his violin case was checked for firearms. Hugh studied Music, Eurythmy and Speech and lived and worked in an intentional urban community for five years. He worked therapeutically with Speech, and performed in many productions including an operetta about Proust for which he wrote the music and in which he sang the title role. Now he teachers and uses music with therapeutic intention in Camphill Schools Aberdeen, and plays with umami jazz band and the Highly Strung and Beannachar ceilidh bands.
