The original set of pieces, originally available in photocopied manuscript form, is augmented in this volume by the inclusion of some of his other compositions – three more Nocturnes to make up a set of four; a Celtic Lullaby; Orly Renée; an arrangement for 3 lyres of Colin's original 'Sea Mist', by Anna Cooper. Most, but not all, of the pieces on the first 24 pages were originally written as solo pieces as indicated, though adaptations can be readily made.
